Lotto players all over the globe are seeking out patterns that will give them an advantage. One such strategy gives them an advantage is the lottery strategy known as “The Edge”. It makes use of all the lottery numbers patterns. They are called Longshots.
Longshots will be explained and given some history. Hot Number Strategy was a lottery strategy that gained popularity a few decades back. The typical marketing hype you would expect came along with it. The pitch looked like this:
Because more than 80% all winning lottery numbers have been drawn within the last ten drawings, you can make your playlist from the top 10 winners. This will increase chances of winning the lottery.
It sounds plausible enough. Let’s take a look at this. Implicit in this strategy, is the opposite side. Any lottery numbers that don’t have a hit in the previous 10 drawings are considered dubious. These lottery numbers were then called Longshots. I still use this name. Longshots aren’t something I condemn. I actually applaud their use. For any viable lottery strategy, it is essential to include Longshots on a playlist.
Hot Number Strategy was a huge scam that enticed lottery players. With little to show, a lot was spent on lottery players.
Hot Number Strategy failed because Longshots were not included. Longshots are an essential part of any viable lottery strategy. They account for between 25% and 40% of the winning numbers. That’s right, 25 to 40% of the winning numbers are Longshots!
This is true for every lottery in America and Canada for over twenty years. That’s when they started to interest me. As the number of lotteries increases, so does the percentage. The percentage of a 6/52 lottery is greater than that of a 6.44 lottery. This lottery number pattern is however solid.
It’s easy to do this. But, it might be more difficult if there isn’t an excellent lottery software program. This is the method. You should list all lottery numbers that have won in the 10 most recent drawings of each lottery drawing. Any lottery number not listed must be a Longshot. Count the number longshot winning numbers in the next draw. This is the whole lottery history. Find the average of the Longshots winners to find the answer. It is approximately 25-40%.
How do you use this information? If your answer was 30%, this means that on average 30% of the winning numbers in each drawing would be Longshots. This would mean that 6/48 lottery players should expect Longshots to win 1.8 numbers. (30% x six = 1.8). While this isn’t true for every drawing, it is consistent over time. Lotto Texas for example, at least 1 winning number is a Longshot 89%. You can count on that เว็บหวย.
This shows how Hot Number Strategy practitioners wasted so many dollars. Their play lists averaged 1.8 less numbers. This was, and is, very frustrating for these players who had used this poor lottery strategy.
Longshot is a feature that many players are looking for. It’s very easy, as we saw in the previous example. Let’s say that you decide to reduce a 48-number lotto to a 37-number list using software for lottery analysis. It’s a good strategy, since you have eliminated 9,946,728 betting opportunities from your game. As you expect 30% to be Longshots, make sure that 11 out of 37 of your lottery numbers are Longshots. (30%x37=11.1)
Longshots are hard to imagine a lottery strategy without them. It’s a common strategy used by all serious lottery players. This is called “playing the odds”. In reality, this is what all successful gamblers do.
